Red fruit aromas with an oaky note on the nose. Soft and generous on the palate, in a lovely harmonious marriage. Good ageing potential.
Pair with light game dishes, grilled meats and cheeses.
Robert Parker's Wine Advocate
The 2020 Beaune 1er Cru Les Teurons bursts with aromas of cherries, wild berries, cassis and licorice. Medium to full-bodied, rich and ample, it's a fleshy, enveloping, textural wine that's generous and elegant.
Jasper Morris
The Bouchard holding is up slope on the limestone, the first vineyard to be picked. Rich intense purple. There is a good energy to the bouquet, as much red fruit as black, a fine thick texture of ripe fruit with some attractive oak. This Teurons is riper than the Clos de la Mousse but was picked in good time.

Decanter
The domaine-owned parcel here is 2.3ha in size on pure limestone soil, facing due east. This is among the most early-ripening parcels. The grapes produced a wine with super-ripe aromas of red and black fruit, with a pronounced saline/mineral edge and a prominent floral tone. The texture is round and full-bodied, with somewhat assertive tannins that will help the wine to age gracefully for 10-15 years.
